Who is She?

Vanessa Paquette better known as Real Vanessa M on social media is a Multi-Published urban model, actress, entrepreneur and influencer.

She is proud of her culture, having grown up in several worlds.  Her father is Jamaican and her mother is German.  So these two worlds have greatly influenced her upbringing and allowed her to be a diverse talent with a

love for travel. She has moved around the majority of her life but calls Toronto her home.

Growing up & becoming a Model in Jamaica

she has always loved the entertainment and modelling world. 

Introduced at the age of 15 in Jamaica, Vanessa attended etiquette class being taught by Althea Laing, who was on the cover for Essence magazine, as the Caribbean’s first supermodel. She also had the opportunity to experience Caribbean Fashion Week and Vanessa met many top models.

Fully inspired, Vanessa started her career in the modelling industry in 2009, when she was scouted by Ambrosia Elite modelling agency based out of Toronto and modelled in high fashion publications, commercial print, and runway.

Getting Published

while still modelling and adding to her portfolio, she obtained her Business Administration, Human Resources and Marketing degree.  After this, she decided to take her modelling more seriously and that's when she became " Vanessa Michaels' aka “Mzemproess”.  She started networking and branching out to the United States & globally, which opened up many publication opportunities.

She embraced being a “full-sized” model at a time where the tall & thin models you see on the runway were “popularized”. She decided to leave her previous agency and branch out into the urban sector as an independent model.  She featured, throughout the years, in Honey Drop Magazine, Street Monsters Magazine, 504dymes magazine, Thisis50, Wiz Daily Dose, Latin Cuties, Wellkonnected Magazine, Seewateva Magazine, and more.

Her Health & Wellness journey began…

In 2016 to 2017 Vanessa took a hiatus from modelling due to some personal issues with her mental and physical health. Even though she was ill, she never gave up. Vanessa has a story to tell and has become a vocal advocate for mental health and well-being. She is someone that we all could look up to.

Living in Germany

Vanessa is currently living in Germany, getting her skin esthetician certificates. Her goal is to open up her very own beauty salon and skincare line.

Her goal is to show the world who the Real Vanessa M is via her YouTube channel, which will be coming out this year (2022). She will share her story, inspire and help people on their journey to self-love. With huge plans for the future; she’s back on top and is ready to give you all a look into her world.
